Hawksbill Turtle
The Hawksbill Turtle and all other Turtle species
are protected by law in the Seychelles

Green Turtle

Also the Green Turtle can commonly be seen around Mahe,
from December until April. The Green Turtle also breeds in Seychelles.

Giant Moray & Soft Coral
The underwater world of the Seychelles is very different
due to the granite landscape. Some of the granite dive sites show a rich variety
in colored sponges, others feature very few coral but have a very interesting landscape
with tunnels and overhangs. While others show an 
abundance in soft coral.

Coral Reef
Around the bay of Beau Vallon and in the
Marine Park of Bay Ternay you can find our Coral Reefs.

Clearfin Lionfish
  • More than 4 different species of Lionfish

  • can be seen in Seychelles.

  • Ornate Spiny Lobster

    One of the 5 species of Lobster that can be seen
    in Seychelles. It has not been allowed to catch lobsters for the past two years,
    and we are happy to see that they made a great come back.

    Whale Shark & Remora's

  • De biggest fish in the world, the Whale Shark can be seen in

  • Seychelles whenever there is enough plankton to feed on. Normally

  • we see a few Whale Sharks together, and it is not uncommon to see

  • 15 to 20 of these big animals together. The best chances

  • to see these gentile giants is from July until December.

  • White Tip Reef Shark
    One of the most common species of Reef Sharks
     seen in the Seychelles. Other species that can be seen include the Grey
    Reef Shark Nurse Shark, Guitar Shark, and of course the Whale Shark.

    Lionfish
    Lionfish can be seen on all dive sites.
    But an abundance, of sometimes up to twenty can be
    seen together at the Twin Barges Wreck, and L'ilot.

    Jewel Grouper
    One of the many grouper species that can
    commonly be seen in Seychelles.

    Bearded Scorpionfish

    There are many members of the scorpionfish family
    that can be see in Seychelles. These are the Stone Fish, Bearded Scorpion Fish,
    Devil Scorpion Fish, Leaf Fish, Indian Walkman. But also the various
    Lion Fish are a member of this family.

     

    Blackspotted Stingray

    Rays are commonly seen in Seychelles. And we see many different species,
    such as this Blackspotted Stingray but also the Porcupine Stingray, Whiptail Ray,
    Spotted Eagle Ray, Flagtail Stingray, Mangrove Whipray,
    Manta Ray, and the small Torpedo Ray.

     

    African Grouper

    The African Grouper is one of the bigger species of Grouper
    that can be seen both on reefs, rocky sites as well as on wrecks.

     

    Blue Striped Snappers
    Plenty of fish in Seychelles, Jacks, Barracuda's, Fusiliers, and schools
    with thousands of Blue Striped Snappers as you can see at
    Shark Bank and the Dredger Wreck.

    Ember Parrotfish
    Parrot Fish can be seen on all dive sites and in a variety
    of colors and size. The Humphead Parrotfish
    can grow up to one meter twenty.

    Seychelles Clownfish
    The beautiful colored Seychelles Clownfish is commonly
    seen on almost all dive sites, whilst the Skunk Clownfish is only
    seen on a few of the dive sites we visit.

     

    Leaf Fish
    The Leaf Fish can be seen on many of our dive sites
    and in a variety of colors, such as pink, white, yellow, green, and brown.
    Often more than one can be found, as they like to stick together.
